What should I set my outgoing mail server to?
Really, you are better off using your ISPs outgoing mail server for sending emails. It will have no visibility to the people you send emails to and most likely will not cause any problems for you. In fact, some ISPs will block you from sending emails from an outgoing mail server other than their own!
However, if you do which to send out via our outgoing mail servers, then please set you outgoing mail server value to mail.yourdomain.com.au (the same as your incoming mail server setting). However, you will also need to go into your "advanced" mail settings and ensure that "My outgoing (SMTP) mail server requires authentication" is ticked (or set to yes) and the userid/password settings for this should be the same as your incoming mail server userid/password. The reason for this is because we do not allow "open relays" to protect us and th rest of the world from spammers.
